Supported Accommodation
Young Adults
Kempshire provides top standard accommodation and support for young people aged 16 to 25, with highly trained staff 24/7. Placements with us can be short, medium to long term depending on the needs and circumstances of the young person.
We support young persons including:
- Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
- Children, who have been living in residential settings or foster families and are ready to transition to independent living
- Care Leavers
- Placement breakdowns
- Other young people not mentioned in the above circumstances.
Our priority at Kempshire is to ensure that the individual person is safe and empowered to make independent choices with other support offered that includes:
- Managing health and well being
- Developing budgeting skills
- Planning healthy meals and help preparing the meal.
- Shopping
- Recreational Activities involving staff and other young persons
Adults
Our Supported Accommodation and Live in Service is cognizant of diversity, different cultures and values and this is reflected in the person centred’ care and support plans.
Provides Supported accommodation and respite care for those needing support in the community. These include dry homes, supported accommodation for individuals with mental health, learning disability, asylum seekers and the elderly.
Our services are provided by experienced Health Care Assistants (HCAs), Support workers and also Qualified Nurses who are equipped with the necessary clinical skills to allow individuals to benefit from professional and quality nursing care.
